Protection of Job Seeker Personally Identifying Information

Hirelite asks job seekers to fill out a profile describing their professional qualifications, skills, and experience. Additionally, Hirelite request that job seekers answer a screening question to validate their skills. Hirelite discloses this information to companies in the following situations:

  • When a job seeker has committed to attend an event, Hirelite may share an anonymized summary of a job seeker’s professional qualifications, skills, and years of experience with other companies that may or may not attend the event. Hirelite does not share contact information or personally identifying information in this instance.
  • When a job seeker has committed to attend an event, Hirelite may share a job seeker’s complete professional self description including professional qualifications, skills, and experience with other companies attending that event. Hirelite does not share contact information in this instance.
  • During an event, if a job seeker and a company have indicated they mutually wish to connect, Hirelite shares a job seeker’s contact information with the indicated company.
  • As described below in the “General Protection of Personally-Identifying Information” section.

Protection of Company Personally Identifying Information

Hirelite asks companies to fill out a profile describing their hiring requirements and preferences. Additionally, Hirelite request that job seekers answer a screening question to validate their skills. Hirelite discloses this information to companies in the following situations:

  • If a company commits to attending an event, Hirelite displays their hiring requirements to the public. Hirelite does not share contact information in this instance.
  • When a company has commited to attend an event, Hirelite may share a company’s complete hiring requirements with other job seekers attending that event. Hirelite does not share contact information in this instance.
  • During an event, if a company and a job seeker have indicated they mutually wish to connect, Hirelite shares a company’s contact information with the indicated job seeker.
  • As described below in the “General Protection of Personally-Identifying Information” section.

Gathering of Information About All Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Hirelite collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Hirelite’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Hirelite’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Hirelite may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Hirelite also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Hirelite only discloses logged in user IP addresses when required to do so by law, or when Hirelite believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Hirelite, third parties or the public at large.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Hirelite’s websites choose to interact with Hirelite in ways that require Hirelite to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Hirelite gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up to provide an email address. Those who wish to participate in Hirelite events are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal, professional, and financial information. In each case, Hirelite collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Hirelite. Gathering Aggregated Statistics

Hirelite may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. Hirelite may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Hirelite does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

General Protection of Personally-Identifying Information

Other than as described above Hirelite discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Hirelite’s behalf or to provide services available at Hirelite’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. If you are a registered user of an Hirelite website and have supplied your email address, Hirelite may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Hirelite and our products. If you send us a request (for example via email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Hirelite takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
